Technical committee on Covid-19, dengue formed

To get the technical assistance in the control measures adopted for Covid-19 and dengue the Uttarakhand government has set up a technical committee.

 The committee is headed by Professor Devrat Rai of Government Doon Medical College (GDMC).

Dr Sadhna Avasthi from Government Medical College Haldwani, Dr Amit Singh from Government Medical College Almora, Dr Ajit Kumar from Government Medical College Srinagar and state SMO, Uttarakhand of World Health Organisation (WHO), Dr Vikas Sharma would be the members of this committee.

The committee would study and analyse the best practices adopted by the country and world for Covid-19.

It would also analyse the studies and researches done on Covid-19 and prepare workable points and present them to the State Government.

The chief operating officer of the state Covid-19 control room would provide every data to the members of the committee by Friday.

The committee is also authorised to collect data from the chief medical officers (CMO) in this respect.
