Kamla Nagar police nabbed three miscreants including two minors from Naya Basera EWS multi-storey building area and recovered valuables worth Rs 50,000 from their possession on Tuesday.
The nabbed accused identified as Sahil Khan confessed burglary from the house of Ravi Dhanuk on June 1. According to the police, acting on a tip off regarding a youth trying to sell valuables was investigated and based on the information he was nabbed.
The police have recovered cooking gas stove, cooking gas cylinder, one pair of silver anklet, one gold chain were recovered from their possession.The accused confessed burglary at Ravi’s house along with two of his aides and based on investigation the two were searched and nabbed. The two were found minor. During the investigation police found that the accused has been booked for four burglaries by Kamla Nagar police. Earlier on June 1, Ravi Dhanuk lodged complaint regarding burglary of valuables from his house at Naya Basera Kamla Nagar. Police narrowed down on the suspects and nabbed Sahil who committed the burglary with the help of two minors.Meanwhile, MP Nagar police have nabbed a vehicle-lifter and recovered a stolen scooter on Wednesday.
The vehicle lifter identified as Mahesh alia Nanu Tanwar is watch list criminal of Bagh Sewania police and has been booked for 17 cases of thefts.According to the police the accused was nabbed he was trying to sell the scooter bearing registration number MP04 SH 5009 stolen from MP Nagar on March 26.
