U’khand prepares contingency plan for COVID-19 outbreak

The State Government has adequate infrastructure, medicine and other facilities to treat the COVID-19 affected and suspected patients of the disease. Senior Minister Madan Kaushik claimed that the State Government has prepared a contingency plan for further increase in the number of the patients of the disease. He said that 400 more beds in isolation wards of Govt Doon Medical College (GDMC) hospital would be added similarly 450 beds in different military hospitals are ready for treatment of COVID-19 patients. He said that 400 beds in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh and 200 beds each are available in Himalayan hospital and Mahant Indiresh hospitals for such patients.
