Jai Odisha members celebrated the Valentine’s Day here with the transgender community to spread the message “Love knows no boundaries”.
A cultural programme “Mora Prema Kahani” was performed by the M Zone Dance Academy. Around 70 transgenders participated in the event and shared their unique love stories and their love for life.
Jai Odisha president Rudra Narayan Samantaray said, “Transgenders are an integral part of our society; and through this platform, we came to know some unique attributes and softer sides about them. Our society should welcome them with open heart and make them part of the mainstream.”
The programme was also attended by Narayan Mohapatra and Umanath Mishra.
