Following the coronavirus outbreak, the Delhi Police Commissioner, S N Shrivastva on Friday inaugurated a wellness webinar series on 'Enduring strategy for living a normal life during the pandemic' organized by Delhi Police .
Dr Randeep Guleria, Director, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) was the guest speaker during the session. According to Anil Mittal, the Additional Public Relation Officer (APRO), the webinar was attended by Sub Inspectors and above ranked officers and panelists educated the the frontline warriors with precautions to be taken while dealing with their day-to-day activities during pandemic period.
"Panelists also answered queries to clear any doubts of participants and encouraged them to follow certain safeguards while carrying out normal official duties. There was overwhelming response from the participants and most queries centred around the upcoming vaccine for Covid19," said Mittal.
"Participants were also keen to know whether they can be struck by the virus again after getting cured and what should be the duration of precautions. The panelists addressed the queries upto the satisfaction of the participants," said Mittal.
S Sundari Nanda, Special CP, Devesh Chandra Srivastava, Joint CP, Atul Kumar Thakur, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) and Mahesh Batra, DCP were among the participants. The CP thanked the panelists for providing valuable information.
