A woman and her three-year-old son were crushed to death under the wheels of a truck near Padiabahal Chhak here on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as the wife and the son of one Govind Meher of Bada Turang village under the Sadar police limits.
Sources said the woman and her son were walking on the road when the speeding truck bearing registration number MH 46 AR 3143 ran over them killing them on the spot.
The truck was en route to Deogarh from Sambalpur.
