GAIL (India) Limited has been playing a significant role in energising possibilities for a cleaner environment and sustainable living considering “Environmental Responsibility” as one of the core elements of its vision statement.
It has been creating awareness through its Hawa Badlo initiative and inducing behavioural changes to ensure a greener and cleaner tomorrow. Through the initiative, GAIL advocates against air pollution, problems caused due to air pollution and solutions for curbing it.
It encourages sustainable and environment friendly lifestyle habits such as planting trees, cycling and walking, car pooling, using public transport, conserving energy and using cleaner energy sources like natural gas for industries, CNG for automobiles, PNG for commercial uses.

Greater Noida Smart Industrial Development Authority has started online services for its farmers in the Noida area from Tuesday. They will have access to the online services for the first time. To avail the benefit of the online services, farmers can go the Land Related services under www.investgnida.in website. There they can take benefit of various options:
- In relation to selling land on the basis of mutual consent.
- With regard to the eligibility of plot for six per cent of the population.
- Regarding the eligibility of the plot of 10 per cent of the population in the order of the court.
- With respect to 64.70 per cent additional compensation in the order of the court.
- In connection with the acquisition of land acquired by the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority or for lease bank.
