It has been observed recently that few cases of COVID-19 have come up in Chittaranjan township. As on date there are five positive patients of COVID admitted in the COVID ward of KG hospital. Nine patients were admitted recently with mild fever and some respiratory problems and their swab test was done. Five were found to be positive and rest four were discharged. The positive cases are increasing day by day in Chittaranjan & our Dankuni unit which is serious.
It is requested to Chittaranjan’s railway employees, their families and the businessmen to maintain social distancing. While moving out, it is advised wear a mask and use hand sanitiser.
To further clip the spread of the virus in the city, the administration is taking precautions. The entry and exit gates of the township and the entry to the offices will be restricted from now onwards. Advisory has been issued to office staff and officers to refrain from meeting unknown persons and other guests from other states so that we can stop the spread of the virus.
