Saif trolled for claim on nepotism

Saif Ali Khan declared in an interview that he has been a victim of nepotism, but he only ended up being a target of trolls on social media.

“Nepotism in its purest form is something that even I have been a victim of. I am not going to take names but somebody’s dad has rung up and said don’t cast him in the film. It has happened to me,” Saif said.

However, the comment did not go down well with netizens. Trolls and memes started targeting the actor, who is the son of renowned actress Sharmila Tagore and late cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi.

‘Remember that photo of yourself from five years ago that makes you feel bad about your current weight? Well, that same person five years ago had something else making her feel bad about her weight. We’re programmed to feel unworthy. Be kind to yourself and your body. Your weighing scale doesn’t define you, you do!’

Kangana Ranaut’s social media team has denied reports that the actress will be questioned by Mumbai Police as a part of the investigation of actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.

Reacting to the news piece on Twitter, Kangana’s team shared, “#KanganaRanaut hasn’t received any such request from @MumbaiPolice yet, but as and when she does, she is more than willing to co-operate.”

Recently, her team shared a video of the actress where she spoke about Sushant Singh Rajput.

Never Have I Ever renewed

Mindy Kalings coming-of-age comedy series Never Have I Ever, about an Indian teenager growing up in the US, will be getting a second season.

With the show, she has used her “relationship with being Hindu” and the experience of “straddling the lines of two cultures” to narrate story of a 15-year-old Devi, first-generation Indian American, and her desperation to feel that she belongs in the society.

“The scene where Devi prays to her household shrine of Gods, it’s a lot similar to my upbringing. And when I was a teenager, I resisted wearing Indian clothes because while beautiful, I found them itchy and hard to wear,” she said.
