VIT Business School gets AACSB International accreditation

VIT Business School, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), has been accredited by Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International, the top accrediting body for business schools globally. The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), USA accreditation places VIT Business School among the prestigious global business schools that have received this recognition. It joins the league of only 901 business schools across 58 countries that are AACSB accredited. VITBS is the 15th accredited business school in India and 2nd in Tamil Nadu.

Govt launches MIS module for agarbatti industry

New Delhi: The government on Tuesday said amanagement information system (MIS) has been launched under the National Bamboo Mission for strengthening the domestic agarbatti industry. The MIS will collate data on agarbatti stick production, the locations of stick making units, availability of raw material, functioning of the units, production capacity, marketing, etc.

With the help of this module, the linkages with the industry will be synergised better to enable seamless procurement from production units and information gaps can be plugged,” the Agriculture Ministry said in a statement. 

All NBM states are in the process of documenting all the units to assess better how to further support can be given for ‘Vocal for Local’ and ‘Make for the World’ since Indian agarbatti aremuch sought after in global markets, it said. The National Bamboo Mission (NBM), launched in 2018-19 for the holistic development of the bamboo sector, is presently being implemented in 21 states, including nine states of the north-eastern region.

CNH Industrial’ Covid task force to help staff

Noida:  In the face of a massive second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, CNH Industrial has set up a dedicated task force to track all infected employees and arrange the required assistance from coordinating with hospitals to arranging for beds, and procuring medicine, oxygen, etc.  Raunak Varma, Country Manager, CNH Industrial India & SAARC, said, “At CNH Industrial, the health and safety of our employees come first and foremost. Payments solution provider SafexPay raises funds

Mumbai: SafexPay, a B2B-focused, API-driven payments solution provider, has raised $6 million in a Pre-Series A round led by T Choithrams and Ardor Advisors. This is SafexPay’s first funding round after it received seed funding from Ravi Gupta and  Pankaj Tripathi as the Angel Investor. The startup plans to use this fresh round of funding to strengthen its product development, focus on key hiring, international expansion, scaling technology platform and launching new products in the market.
