SRM students score big on placements

Kattankulathur: The Covid crisis notwithstanding, SRM Institute of Science and Technology has kept up its reputation for high scores in campus recruitments this year too, with leading IT and core engineering companies coming up with over 7111 offers to the graduating class of 2021. The highest offer, Rs.35 lakhs per annum, came from Bengaluru-based WorkIndia Information Technology and Service, rated among the topmost blue-collar job portals in the country. More than 600 companies have already visited the campus (virtually) since the commencement of the placement season. Many more are expected as the 'season' continues till the end of June 2021.

CNH Industrial announces vax drive for staff

New Delhi: CNH Industrial, which produces agricultural equipment and construction equipment in India, announced an in-house Covid-19 vaccination drive for its Indian workforce to ensure their health, safety and well-being in the face of the ongoing pandemic. Raunak Varma, country manager, CNH Industrial India & SAARC, said, “The health and well-being of our employees have been our utmost priority. With this vaccination program, we are creating a safe environment for all our employees.”
