The BJP on Wednesday hoped that farmers would respect Supreme Court decisions as BJP has done saying "we should trust all constitutional institutions”.
“We respect Supreme Court and so should be done by the farmers”, said BJP’s national spokesman Sambit Patra.
“In Supreme Court’s decisions the nation takes pride and that therefore the BJP with utmost respect bows down in front of the Supreme Court and accepts their decision on the Farm laws.”
Patra said he was hopeful that the farmers too will accept this decision and walk on the path that the SC has paved for them.
He said BJP’s four-point formula a for the solution of the current issue includes “smvaad, samman, sahmati aur sadbhavna”. The BJP leader maintained that ever since Prime Minister Narendra Modi has joined India’s Government as a loyal servant to it’s citizen, his only goal has been the welfare of Indian farmers and promotion of poor people as well as helping all excluded and discriminated sections of the society.
“For over 70 year the farmers of our nation have been denied basic rights”, he asserted.
Patra said farmers interest is in uppermost in the mind of the Prime Minister.
“His other concerns also revolve around helping farmers earn more, making sure there is proper irrigation and that no citizen in India sleeps hungry”, the BJP spokesman said.
