In the panchayat elections, not the granddaughter of former CM Kalyan Singh, but the mother-in-law will enter the ground. On the other hand, in the ward from which granddaughter Purnima Singh was in the ticket line, the party has fielded Khushboo, daughter-in-law of BJP leader Rajesh Bhardwaj. On Saturday evening, the party declared the two candidates and ended the suspense.
The BJP had released the list of 45 district Panchayat members late on Friday night. In which the most prominent candidate was not fielded from Ward-8. Before this ward, Purnima Singh, grand daughter of former CM and daughter Rajvir Singh, was in the line of contenders. So from this ward, senior BJP leader Rajesh Bhardwaj's daughter-in-law Khushboo Bhardwaj had also claimed. A lot of reconciliation efforts were made by the party to declare candidates in this ward but the matter could not be solved.
The talk of dynasticism rose to the top. After which the top leaders of the party came into action.
After which the party played a new trump card on Saturday evening. The party nominated Khushboo as the candidate for Zilla Panchayat from Ward 8, while on the other hand, from Ward-47, the former CM's grand daughter Purnima Singh's mother-in-law and Vijay Singh, wife of Regional Vice President of Brajkshetra, Shyouraj Singh, were nominated as candidates.
