Punya Salila Srivastava, a1993 batch AGMUT cadre officer, was on Thursday appointed as Additional Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office.
She was Additional Secretary in the Union Home Ministry and was holding the charge of spokesperson of the Ministry, especially during Covid times.
Meanwhile, 1994 batch Tamil Nadu cadre officer Amuda Periyasamy, Additional Secretary, has been repatriated from PMO to her parent cadre.
Srivastava's appointment comes a couple of days after former I&B Secretary Amit Khare was appointed as Advisor to the Prime Minister.
