The BJP on Wednesday launched a blistering attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and her sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, alleging that the Gandhi family is using the Lakhimpur Kheri tragedy as an opportunity to extract political mileage from the incident by inciting people.
The BJP also said “the family” has been rushing to the tragedy site to divert attention from the feud within the party.
Addressing a Press conference here, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra responded to Rahul’s charges that the Modi Government is “stealing” from everyone’s pocket by hitting back saying a “family”
who is out “on bail’ on various charges of corruption has the cheek to say so.
He said son-in-law Robert Vadra who is facing land-grabbing charges is “lecturing” on justice to the farmers. Lashing back at Rahul, Patra said “irresponsibility” has become his second name.
“He raised questions on post mortem. Is he a medical expert?” asked BJP national spokesperson.
