In explaining this further Dr. Samant Darshi said, “It has always troubled me that individuals experiencing mental health concerns do not have a place that is essentially a one stop solution. This issue is further heightened by paucity of adequately trained mental health professionals and a lack of integrative approach to mental health care. Dearth of centers that provide holistic care makes it difficult for the patients to access all the services under the same roof. Some places limit themselves and provide only psychopharmacological treatments, some restrict their treatment purview to neuromodulation and the others only provide psychological interventions often overlooking important biological contributors.”
