New series on mx player

Weddings are a time of joy, a celebration of two souls becoming one but then — there are times when you hear of a runaway bride that leaves everyone wondering what compelled her to desert her own wedding.

Be it the fabulous Julia Roberts’ story in Runaway Bride, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s epic escape in 3 Idiots or Diana Penty’s run in Happy Bhaag Jayegi, runaway brides have always made great entertainers. Ruhi Singh, recently seen as a runaway bride in MX Player’s Runaway Lugaai says she think it’s the thrill of taking this giant leap of faith to finding your own path that makes these stories a fascinating watch.

Talking about the same, Ruhi says: “My character Bulbul is bold, she’s bindaas and as a small town girl, she goes through this dilemma of wanting to achieve and live her big dream even at the cost of running away from her life as a newlywed. While enacting that scene, there was this sense of purpose and adrenaline pulsing through me, and I was mentally cheering on my character who so bravely decided to make an unconventional choice. Stories of runaway brides might not be convincing for all, but there could be multiple reasons as to why a bride is fighting against this new chapter of her life. Bulbul finds a different path for herself a little while into her marriage, and she isn’t afraid to go after it —  this courage is what I love about her. It’s the sheer thrill of being able to take a giant leap of faith that leaves most of us fascinated by these plots.”

Runaway Lugaai follows the story of Rajnikant Sinha (Rajni — who is far from his namesake), the only child of MLA Narendra Sinha (Sanjay Mishra) who has lived his entire life under his father’s thumb. But things changed for him when he met Bulbul (Ruhi Singh) — a beautiful, feisty and free-spirited girl whom he marries soon after. Instead of a happily ever after, what follows for Rajni is a shocking turn of events when his lugaai goes missing without leaving a trace, shortly after their marriage and thus begins Rajni’s humorous and heart-warming quest to find his Runaway Lugaai.

Sapna and neha’s dance challenge

Zee TV's primetime show Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti depicts the innocent world of two adorable kids (Rishi and Roli) who have teamed up to rekindle the love between their parents and complete their ‘happy family’. Together, they have vowed to be the glue, that will fill the cracks that have developed between their parents, Shubra (Neha Marda) and Kuldeep (Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi). While they continue to strive and fix the issues between their parents, Kuldeep also wishes for Shubra to resolve her issues with his love interest, Samaira(Sapna Thakur). The duo may have been involved in an endless heated dispute over Kuldeep, but this has never affected the off-screen bond that Neha Marda and Sapna Thakur share. In fact, they both have become the best of friends and their social media posts are a definite proof of that.

The leading ladies of the show are often seen creating some peppy dance reels for their fans when taking breaks from their shoot. Very recently on the sets of Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti, Sapna and Neha challenged themselves to the trending ‘Don’t rush challenge’ where the former is seen effortlessly lifting Neha Marda who is posing in style, leaving all of us surprised and awed. Well, it surely seems like these two have outstood all the performances seen so far.

Sharing more about the moment, Neha Marda said: “We were making a ‘Don’t Rush’ challenge video and where I suggested that we could do a step where Sapna can lift me up at the end. Sapna is physically strong and has lot of strength, so it was easy for her to lift someone like me who is so petite. Initially Sapna wanted to do the same step with Siddhaanth but that couldn’t happen, therefore she decided to do it with me. When a dancer does a lift, it is important for it to be technically right, or else any injury can take place. I must say Sapna did it flawlessly in one take.”

Style it like yesha

Yesha Rughani's talent as an actress is well known to everyone, with a splendid performance alongside the heartthrob Abhishek Nigam, Yesha has managed to steal the hearts of the audience with her acting as well as fashion skills.

Essaying the role of starlet, Zara in Sony Sab Hero — Gayab Mode On, Yesha is a simple girl next door but with a smacking sense of fashion. She pools some easy and chic fashion tips with her fans and those who are keen on grooming themselves but do not know where to start.

Yesha Rughani who plays the role of Zara said: “Fashion and makeup go hand in hand. Anyone interested in knowing about fashion naturally fosters a preference for makeup trends and vice versa. Fashion is a synonym for comfort, and I only abide by those fashion trends I am comfortable in. I have a soft corner for vintage style as it's something which is exceptionally beautiful. As I have studied styling, I always make sure whatever I buy I use it many ways from a skirt to a scarf. I make sure I style it in various ways for multiple events. I would always prefer a sweatshirt and pyjama and whatever i am wearing reflects my mood for that day. Playing Zara has changed a lot in my life I really love her styling and the glam make up she does. I am learning a lot from my role in terms of fashion and make up as well.”
