All Community Development Officers should share their experiences by keeping in contact and create fine tuning with each other, said Deputy Project Director Administration Chandramohan Mishra at a one-day virtual counseling program was organized for the motivators and community development officers at the headquarters of Madhya Pradesh Urban Development Company.
Addressing the participants in the program, DPD Admin Mishra said that just as the cleanliness campaign has made a positive change in the mind of the people, we also run a campaign to connect the citizens with the projects.
He asked the motivators to make special efforts in the backward areas of the city to reach the objectives of the project on the ground.
Addressing the discussion, Chief Engineer Vijay Kumar Gupta said that in the first phase of ADB Phase-I, projects worth Rs 2278 crore are in progress. Community development officers and motivators have an important role to play in motivating the general public to take connections.
Effective way of talking to the motivators can make the citizens have a positive attitude towards the project. He said that it is also necessary to connect the science students with the motivators so that they can explain the benefits of clean water in a scientific way in easy language.
In the program, Asian Development Bank gender expert Dr. Manisha Tailang said that such discussions are necessary for capacity building.
Project Officer Amar Khare coordinated the program. Community Development Officer Rakesh Shandilya, Girish Nair along with social experts Dr. Savita Jain and Chhaya Khale were present in the program.
