The Chhattisgarh Health Department on Friday asked people to take Covid-19 vaccine shots, saying the pandemic is not over and everyone needs to be cautious.
"We should use mask, maintain physical distancing and keep washing our hands at regular intervals. This way we can keep our families and society safe from Covid," the department said in a press release.
It added that corona cases have gone up in several states in the country.
The Department said if anyone has cold, cough, fever, fatigue, dysentery, lack of hunger and loss of smell, he should immediately contact doctors and get tested for Covid.
People should avoid non-trained doctors or quacks, it said.
“Since Covid vaccination started in Chhattisgarh not a single AEFI (Adverse Events Following Immunization) case was reported. Therefore, people should come forward and get corona vaccines,” Immunization Officer Dr Amar Thakur said.
