To create maximum employment opportunities for the youth of the state, Haryana Government has notified 'Employment Generation Subsidy Scheme'.
“The objective of the scheme is to create employment opportunities for the persons of skilled, semi-skilled or unskilled category belonging to Haryana for their capacity building,” said Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, who also holds the portfolio of Industries and Commerce Department
Giving details about the scheme, he said that under this scheme, ultra-mega projects, cluster establishment or relocation, micro, small, medium, large and mega projects, thrust sector or import substitution, essential sector, bio energy or renewable energy enterprises (MSME, large, mega projects) and data centres and co-location facility will be provided subsidy for employing skilled, semi-skilled or unskilled category persons domiciled in Haryana.
He said that ultra mega projects will be offered a customized package of incentives by the Haryana Enterprise Promotion Board (HEPB) throughout the state. The quantum and period of employment generation subsidy will be decided by the HEPB. Similarly, any cluster comprising of at least 10 enterprises, engaged in similar economic activity, being established or relocated from other countries or states to Haryana, will be treated as mega project, provided it meets the criteria of FCI and a special package of incentives will be decided by HEPB on the basis of cost benefit analysis, he said.
