‘Fauji Calling' to unveil emotional bonding: Joshi

A patriotic film based on the emotional bonding of military and family, “Fauji Calling” will be released on March 12 in various theaters across the Country, announced Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi on Monday, who arrived in Ranchi to promote the film.

Addressing media persons, Joshi said that the film is inspired by a true incident which is related to the Uri attack. He said that this film makes the audience aware of the emotional story of a soldier and his family. The Actor said, "Soldiers protect our Country by guarding the border. To protect our Country, soldiers put their lives at stake, but their real strength is their family. What happens to a family after a soldier is martyred. What problems they have to deal with, it is shown in this film. We need to know how big the sacrifice of the army as well as that of the family is."

Speaking on the occasion, Director of the film, Aryan Saxena, said that a lot of films have been made on patriotism even before this, but this film has been made somewhat different. "Fauji Calling" depicts the bravery of the Country's soldiers, he added as well as the patience of their families and how the family of a military encourages them to put their lives on the border and what happens to their family when the soldiers are martyred is the main story of this film, he added.

"Jharkhand is a beautiful State surrounded by lush green forests. Jharkhand has excellent locations for filmmaking such as Netarhat, Betla, Patratu, Macluskiganj, various falls and others. The people of Jharkhand are very hardworking, simple and upright. There is no dearth of talent among the artists here. The common people have also contributed a lot during the shooting of the film," said Saxena.

Bollywood actress Vidita Bagh addressing the gathering said, "The shooting of the film "Fauji Calling" started from Jharkhand and today we have come here to promote this film, it is a pleasant experience. He told me that my mother travels from Jharkhand. Shooting of "Fauji Calling" started in 2019 and was completed in 2020. I have played the wife of a soldier in this film, it has been very challenging. The film is based on the emotional journey of a military."

Local actress Ritu Sri, also shared her experience with the media.

On the occasion, Deputy Director Information and Public Relations Department, Shalini Verma was also present.
