Four ‘Hamar Aspatal’ in Raipur have helped improve healthcare services in the Chhattisgarh capital.
Equipped with modern facilities, the hospitals have reported 30,000 outpatient department patients and 200 institutional deliveries from August to October.
In collaboration with the National Health Mission, the Urban Community Health Centre at Gudhiyari and the Urban Primary Health Centers at Rajatalab, Bhatagaon and Bhanpuri have been upgraded as ‘Hamar Aspatal’, an official communication said on Saturday.
Health Minister T.S. Singh Deo inaugurated ‘Hamar Aspatal’ (Hospital Services) in March 2020 at Gudhiyari and in November 2020 at Rajatalab, Bhathagaon and Bhanpuri.
The OPD services are available from 8 am to 8 pm. The lab has 42 kinds of test facilities. Patients can get 150 kinds of medicines in these hospitals free of cost.
In the last seven months, 1,611 people have had their eyes checked in the four hospitals.
In the same duration, as many as 1,188 people have availed dental treatment and 320 patients have availed the X-ray facility at Gudhiyari.
The facility of Sonography has also been started in Rajatalab and Gudhiyari hospitals from August.
In the last three months, 77 women in Gudhiyari, 53 in Rajatalab, 38 in Bhanpuri and 35 in Bhatagaon have availed institutional delivery services.
