The East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) has launched on demand collection of Constructionand Demolition waste C&D waste in association with Indo Enviro Integrated Solution.
Commissioner of EDMC, Vikas Anand informed that in its endeavour to serve people living in EDMC area better by reducing air pollution. "The move is taken to provide better facilities to the citizens of East Delhi and reduce air pollution as well.
The service is available on payment of nominal charges," he said. The EDMC Commissioner further said that residents of the area can call on the 9205059982/9821488633 and inform the detail such as location, quantity of malba etc to avail the facility. "The site will be verified by the Supervisor and intimate the citizen about the charges. The charges of lifting the C&D waste is `440.65 per ton for the month of December-2021 and ` 452.78 per ton from January-2022 onwards," he added.
