1 die, 1 severely injured in head-on bike collision

A 50-year-old man died while one biker suffered severe injuries after their bikes collided near Rajiv petrol pump under Ayodhya Nagar police station area on Tuesday.

Police said that locals rushed two injured to nearby hospital after their bikes collided, where one was declared death when checked by doctors while second escaped with injuries. The deceased was identified as Devidas Kaamle of Indrapuri.

The two were on the different bike. The deceased used to work as truck driver and had gone for some work when his bike was hit by other bike.

Body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 304 A of the IPC and started further investigation. Police have seized the vehicles.

Meanwhile, a 24-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Ratibad on Tuesday, 

The police said that the deceased Suraj Prjapati  was found hanging with the ceiling and declared dead when rushed to a nearby hospital.

During the investigation police found that the deceased was alone at his house. The deceased used to remain depressed for the past few days but the reason remained unknown.

After the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation. The reason would be investigated and the statements of the family members would be recorded.
