A total of 559 tankers and containers carrying 10,270.298 MT medical oxygen have been dispatched under the escort of Odisha police so far from Rourkela and Jajpur, Dhenkanal and Angul districts of Odisha to 11 deficit States in the country. More were leaving on Tuesday.
During last 19 days, as many as 57 tankers were dispatched from Angul with 945.302MT, 147 from Dhenkanal with 2,324.32 MT, 134 from Jajpur with 2,790.112 MT and 221 from Rourkela with 4,210.564 MT. A total of 169 tankers with 3,385.754 MT of oxygen have been sent so far to Andhra Pradesh, and 147 tankers with 2,494.829 MT of oxygen to Telangana. Tamil Nadu has received 12 tankers with 234.94 MT of medical oxygen.
Similarly, Haryana has received 79 tankers filled with 1,460.342 MT of oxygen. 27 tankers with 465.831 MT of oxygen have been sent so far to Maharashtra; while 320.322 MT of oxygen filled in 21 tankers have been dispatched to Chhattisgarh.
As many as 38 tankers have carried around 719.95 MT of oxygen to Uttar Pradesh and 47 tankers with 823.96 MT of oxygen have been sent to Madhya Pradesh till date. 15 tankers with 274.86 MT of oxygen have been sent so far to Delhi, two tankers with 58.22 MT sent to Punjab and two tankers with 31.29 MT sent to Bihar in last 19 days.
