The Uttar Pradesh government claimed that 1031.43 MT of oxygen was supplied to medical colleges, medical institutes, private hospitals and re-fillers across the state in the past 24 hours. Under self-production, 81.87 MT oxygen was also supplied through air separators units and 3,471 patients in home isolation were also supplied 26.44 MT oxygen through cylinders in the last 24 hours.
Additional Chief Secretary, Home, Awanish Kumar Awasthi said that a total of 1031.43 MT oxygen was supplied to Lucknow in the last 24 hours, of which 623.11 MT was supplied to the refillers by the Food Safety and Drug Administration.
In addition, 313.02 MT oxygen was supplied to medical colleges and institutions in the state and 95.29 MT oxygen was supplied directly to private hospitals by suppliers.
Awasthi said that 85.08 MT oxygen was supplied to major districts like Kanpur, 57.15 MT to Varanasi, 56.99 MT to Prayagraj, 261.41 MT to Meerut, 53.12 MT to Moradabad, 73.47 MT to Agra and 53.21 MT to Gorakhpur. Around 155.26 MT oxygen was supplied to Lucknow in the last 24 hours.
