13 more people succumbed to Covid-19 as 925 fresh cases surfaced in Himachal on Wednesday.
Six deaths were reported in Kangra, which is worst affected due to Covid-19 in the state. Three deaths were reported in Shimla while two deaths each were reported in Una and Mandi in the last 24 hours, stated the Himachal’s evening health bulletin.
The total case tally reached 72319 while the death toll stood at 1135 in the hill state.
Of the 925 fresh cases, a maximum of 178 cases were reported in Kangra district followed by 143 in Solan and 114 in Mandi. Shimla reported 104 cases, Una 94, Sirmaur 71, Chamba 68, Hamirpur 66 cases, Kullu 42 cases, Bilaspur 41 cases.
There were 6929 active cases in the state till the evening. Kangra has the highest number of active cases at 1500 followed by 1357 in Solan and 726 in Una.
250 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours. Till date, 64218 people have recovered from COVID in the state.
Over 13.54 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted in the state till date, the bulletin added.
