The national Capital recorded 197 fresh Covid-19 cases and one death on Sunday, even as the positivity rate stood at 0.34 per cent.
These new cases came out of 57,772 tests for Covid-19 conducted the previous day, according to the latest health bulletin issued by the city Government.
The total number of tests conducted on Sunday consists of 39,070 RT-PCR tests and 18,702 rapid antigen tests, the bulletin added.
Delhi had recorded 96 coronavirus cases on January 27, the lowest in over nine months. It was also the first time the daily infection count stood below the 100-mark in that month.
The infection tally in the city now stands at 7,39,289, the authorities said. The tally of active cases is 1,335.
Besides fall in active cases, the count of home isolation cases have also registered a sustained fall, dropping to below 691-mark, indicating improvement in the Covid-19 situation, as per the bulletin.
It said that 46 beds in Covid care centres are occupied by persons under quarantine, including travellers who have returned by the Vande Bharat Mission and bubble flights.
