2 Civil Defence marshalls held for snatching mobile phone

The Delhi Police has arrested two Civil Defence marshalls for allegedly robbing a mobile phone of a person in Narela area. The accused have been identified as Gaurav (20) and Ayush (20), both residents of Narela.

According to a senior police official, on Monday around 9.30 pm, one Vikas Kumar, a resident of Sonipat in Haryana, along with cousin was going home after finishing work. When they reached at MSP Mall, DSIDC, Narela, two bike borne men came there. They stopped near him, slapped him and forcefully robbed his mobile phone. During patrolling, police heard some hue and cry near the spot, following which they rushed to the spot. After seeing police, one of them tried to escape from the spot  and started running, however, they were nabbed,” said the senior police official adding that the person, who was on motorcycle, was also nabbed.
