A 27-year-old man committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at his house in Semra locality under Ashoka Garden police station area late in the night on Saturday; deceased committed suicide on camera, which he recorded in his mobile phone.
Police said that the deceased Bhagat Singh committed suicide at his house. The deceased used to work with a private firm.
In the initial investigation the police found that deceased used to live with two roommate who have gone to have food and when they returned late in the night deceased was found hanging. The two found that mobile phone video camera was on and suicide was recorded live in the mobile phone.
The deceased had not shared suicide through live streaming or on any other social platform, still the reason of recording the suicide remained uncertain.
On Saturday, the deceased was alone while his two roommates have gone for dinner and later at around 11 he was found hanging with the ceiling. The roommates would be quizzed and call record details of the deceased would be searched.
Body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation.
The deceased was a resident of Sarni Betul and used to work with a private firm. The family members were informed by police but they failed to provide any reason behind the suicide.
