3 booked for opening fire at 65-yr-old man

Aishbagh police have booked three miscreants for opening fire at a 65-year-old near Hindustan marriage hall in the night on Wednesday; victim was shot in his leg during fight.

Panic prevailed in the night in Aishbagh area when the accused identified as Faizan alais Bhura opened fired at Afzal Khan over dispute of his daughter Meena alias Mumtaz with her brother-in-law Gurfan.

The victim had gone to his daughter’s house near Hindustan marriage hall where he had an altercation with accused Faizan alias Bhura and Chand Khan. 

Faizan took a county made pistol and opened fire in the air and Chand who was with him took away gun and shot at Afzal in his leg. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where his condition is reported stable.

On Wednesday after victim got information of fight between Gufran and his daughter victim had gone to intervene and pacify the dispute but it proved costly for the victim who was shot in his leg. 

Initially the victim tried to convince but accused continued with verbal spate and took out his gun and opened fire at the victim.

Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 307 of the IPC and started further investigation. The accused escaped the spot and are still at large. The accused hold crime record would be investigated said police.
