3-day National Research Seminar on Declassified Castes of Madhya Pradesh concludes at MPSTM’

The three-day National Research Seminar on Declassified Castes of Madhya Pradesh concluded here on Sunday at Madhya Pradesh State Tribal Museum.

The seminar was organized by the Academy of Tribal Folk and Boli Development at Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum by the Madhya Pradesh Government, Culture Department. It was conducted by Ruchi Ghosh.

She expressed her views and said- research is a very peaceful and challenging work. Those who presented the paper here deserve appreciation because the work done by them is a source of inspiration. Some questions were answered through this seminar and some have answers, so further work is possible in this area.

In this session, Pradeep Jilwane, Raksha Geeta, Lakshmi Chandela,  Megha Soni, Ravi Bundela, presented their research papers.

There should be such seminars in the country said Bhiku Ramji Idate.

While presenting the seminar in the summit session, Bhiku Ramji Idate, former president, National Vimukta, Ghoomantu and semi-nomadic tribes commission said that he has been involved in this yagna for three days and got to hear all the things together. Madhya Pradesh has given the first example of how such seminars should take place in the country. "I think that should go to the core of some subjects. Changing the psychology of these people is a big challenge, so it should be done in depth," he added.

It is necessary to preserve the culture of the liberated castes said Pahari Lal Singh.

While giving a brief statement in the seminar, Pahadi Lal Singh Mana said that the research that you are doing is a matter of praise. These liberated castes have their own language and culture which should be scripted or else they will become extinct in the coming years. We are working on these and the government should also work in this direction.
