3 thieves held in Garhwa

Garhwa Police arrested 3 persons involved in tempo theft and various robbery incidents, on Saturday. Police also recovered Rs 25010 cash, stolen tempo’s stepney and a numberless Pulsar motorcycle used in the robbery from them. Garhwa SDPO Awadh Kumar Yadav told reporters on here that after coming to the notice of the incident of robbery of Rs 25,000 from one Kashinath Kesari, Garhwa SP Anjani Kumar Jha formed a team under the leadership of SDPO Awadh Kumar Yadav.  The team formed has arrested 3 people on the basis of secret information.  The arrested persons have been identified as Digvijay Narayan Singh alias Vijay Singh village Naudiha under Patan police station , Akhilesh Kumar Tiwari village Rajwadih and Vikas Pandey village Redma, both under Daltonganj police station of  Palamu district.

 On November 25, there was a robbery of Rs 25000 from Kashinath Kesari, for which Garhwa Town police station case number 610/2021 was registered.  Digvijay, who was involved in this robbery  , has been arrested from his residence.  On November 17, A Accused accepted his involvement in robbery of Rs. 200000 to Chhotu Chaudhary  and ? 70000  from a woman riding an auto.  Police have recovered Rs 20010 worth of loot from him as well as a Pulsar motorcycle without number used in the robbery incident.

 In the second incident, two thieves who were involved in the tempo theft on November 16 have also been arrested.  The police have also recovered the stepney of the stolen tempo.  For this, the police had registered Garhwa police station case number 615 2021.
