A 32-year-old man committed suicide by jumping from fourth floor of building at Jehangirabad on Thursday; police said that deceased created ruckus in the night before he died.

Police said that the deceased identified as Farooq Ali was heavily addicted to drugs and failing to get drugs he committed suicide.

According to the police, a man was found in pool of blood near UP tyre shop in the morning hours. He was rushed to a hospital where he was declared dead.

The deceased used to work as conductor with a local city bus and addicted to different kind of hallucination substances. Police have not found reason behind taking the extreme step and would investigate.

After the locals spotted the body, the police were informed and on the receipt of the information, a police team reached. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.

Meanwhile, a 50-year-old woman died who was injured after she was hit by a bike on her way to temple on Thursday; TT Nagar police have booked two minors who hit woman.

Police said the deceased identified as Dhanwati Sharma was hit by a speeding bike, a minor was riding the bike along with pillion rider who was also minor.

In the morning Dhanwati was on her way to temple and met with an accident which proved fatal for her while minor on the bike escaped with injuries.

After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post-mortem. The police have registered a case and started further investigation.
