At least 36 cases of dengue have been reported in the national Capital so far this year, the data released by the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) said on Monday. According to the latest report released by all three Municipal Corporation, mosquito-breeding has been reported in at least 30,466 households and 2,689 prosecutions have been launched this year.
The dengue breeding checkers have checked 10354303 houses and also issued 28,442 legal notices to various office and residential premises, the data said.
The number of dengue cases for the January 1-July 3 period is also the highest this year since 2018 when the count had stood at 33 in that same duration. No case has been reported in the month of July, as per the report.
As per the civic report issued by the municipal corporations, 36 cases of dengue have been recorded till July 3 this year. However, no deaths have been reported due to dengue in the city till now, it said.
