Bhubaneswar on Tuesday registered 369 new Covid-19 positive cases. With this, the total positives’ tally in the city surged to 96,791.Out of the new cases, 304 were local contacts and 65 quarantine cases.
The local contacts included 30 cases in Patia, 23 in Nayapalli, 17 each in Chandrasekharpur and Old Town, 14 in Khandagiri, 10 in Laxmisagar and nine in Baramunda.
The active cases stood at 1,611 in the city. Meanwhile, 17 more patients succumbed to the disease in the city, pushing the total death toll to 683. However, 253 persons recovered on the day, increasing the total recoveries to 94,476.
