Piplani police have arrested three persons for duping a mobile phone store owner to the tune of lakhs of rupees by selling over 125 mobile phones in the period of 2017 to 2019 year.

The complainant Varsha Singh owns Mobile Junction near Jublee gate who lodged a complaint against Arvind Singh, Aditya Singh and Nitesh who were partners in the shop and used to sell mobile phones at the shop and during the period they sold numerous mobile phones without maintaining records and recently when audit was conducted fraud was found.

The police have registered a case under sections 420 and 406 of the IPC and started further investigation.

The fraud surfaced when the shop was to be shifted and audit was done and initially 35 mobile phones were found to be sold without receipts which was found to be done by the three accused.

Victim started business with the three who were partners and used to work at sale counter as well and in the two years of time, the accused sold over 125 mobile phones which is found in the investigation and number would high in the further investigation.

The estimated fraud is around Rs 35 lakh which has been revealed in the investigation and total loss might be more as the further investigation. The accessories were also be checked which were also missing.
