Tagore National Artist Camp is being organized in Rabindranath Tagore University Campus under Purva Rang of Vishwarang 2021.
This seven-day camp is being organized under the aegis of Tagore World Center for Art and Culture. In the first phase of this camp, from October 18 to 24, eminent women painters of the country will participate.
On this occasion there will also be interactive sessions focused on the tradition, experimentation and innovation of fine arts. In the series of dialogues, art experts Krishna Agarwal, Ashok Bhowmik, Vinay Upadhyay and Rakhi Kumar will share their views.
This is a unique initiative of its kind in the country at the university level. Women painters include Taslim Jamal, Banswara, Rajasthan, Sanju Das, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, Sonali Pithaway, Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, Bharti Prajapati, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Bhavna Choudhary, Bhopal, Sonia Sabharwal, Goa and more. On Monday, in the Katha Auditorium of the University, well-known painter Prof. Jaikrishna Agarwal, former Principal College of Arts and Crafts Lucknow University, Uttar Pradesh will inaugurate the camp as the chief guest.
Santosh Choubey Chancellor Rabindranath Tagore University will be present as the President of the inaugural session. The guide of this project will also be the main creative association of noted painter and thinker Ashok Bhowmik.
In this seven-day camp, women painters will make their dreams come true on canvas through colors and kuchis. Art talk will be organized daily on various topics.
