As many as seven tourists from Jharkhand were swept away while taking bath in the sea in Puri on Friday. However, six of them were later rescued while the other was yet to be traced.
According to reports, 15 tourists from Jharkhand were taking bath near the Pink House hotel at Penthakata. All of a sudden, they were swept away by strong currents following a high tide.
Hearing their screams, local Nolias jumped into the water and rescued six of them. However, a student, identified as Deepak, was still missing.On receiving the information, Fire Service personnel reached the spot and launched a search operation to trace the boy.
