Admin tests medics for ‘false’ positive reports

As per the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Ranchi Chavi Ranjan, officials, doctors or health workers who have claimed to be Covid positive and are not contributing at their workplace are being investigated.

Today, under the leadership of Sub-Divisional Officer Ranchi Sadar Utkarsh Gupta and probationary IAS officer Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat, swab samples of District Animal Husbandry Officer Vidyasagar, Dr Pallavi Sharma and others has been collected by visiting the house, so that the confirmation of their Covid positive Can be done.

There are many officials, doctors and health workers who are not performing their tasks by pretending to be  Covid positive.

Ranjan has instructed SDO Ranchi to hand over the list of all officials/doctors/health workers, who have switched off their phones or given their address incorrectly to the Deputy Commissioner Office so that Action can be taken at the earliest.

The district administration of Ranchi is constantly trying to prevent the global epidemic Covid-19, but there are many officials, doctors and para medical staff ,who are not returning to service even in this difficult situation, and are not contributing on their deputation site. Many have switched off their phones, many have also stated their address as wrong.

The DC has asked all those doctors, officials and health workers to return to their deputation site as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, the DC held a meeting with the Sub-Divisional Officer Bundu Sameera S and Blood Bank of RIMS with deputed magistrates and various NGOs on Plasma donation today. Ranjan appealed to the residents of Ranchi once again, saying that Corona warriors who have overcome the infection and who have been cured for more than 14 days need to come forward for plasma donation to save the lives of other infected people.

During the meeting, Ranjan directed the deputed magistrates in the blood bank of RIMS to ensure smooth operation of plasma donation and receiving work. He said that those who come to donate plasma and those who are given plasma (donor and receiver), maintain the necessary information related to them in the register. The right use of plasma therapy directed to establish better coordination with physicians.

The DC said public participation is also necessary to fight Covid-19. Many voluntary organizations are already doing better work in the field of health. Their contribution is also expected in the hour of this disaster. Various NGOs engaged in Plasma Donation work were also given necessary guidelines during the meeting by the DC.
