State Cyber cell issued advisory regarding the trend of playing online games, children of most of the households insist on getting their own mobile or play online games using the mobile of the parents and for next level or buy an avatar, weapon or dress online payment is required, which children can make through their parents' online banking or debit and credit card and trapped by fraudsters.
ADG Choudhary said that nowadays it is being seen that children are competing to play online games. Many times the children save the card and bank details in the payment mode of the game itself, due to which only OTP is required to make the next payment and delete them which parents remain unaware.
By the time the parents come to know about the deduction of money, they have already lost thousands of lakhs. Many times children take wrong steps in this depression that due to them parents have suffered a lot or they have been burdened with the debt of many people of the market. Many such cases are being heard.
Monitor online activity of children. Enable Parental Control on Play Store etc in mobile of all family members. Parents should not give their mobile to their children and do not reveal their password to the children especially when the same mobile number linked in your bank account is being used in the SIM mobile set.
