The Department of Nuclear Medicine, AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, will organise the 19th Annual Congress of the Association of Nuclear Medicine Physicians of India on Saturday on online platform.
Dr Kanhaiya Agrawal, Associate Professor Nuclear Medicine is the organising chairperson and Dr Girish Parida the organising secretary. Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan will join the inaugural ceremony as chief guest. Prof B R Mittal, Director, Institute of Medical Science, Banaras Hindu University, will be guest of honour. "To update the ever-growing knowledge in the nuclear medicine, we have academic lectures on recent developments in the field of cancer. There is going to be approximately 48 lectures by faculties from India, the USA, the UK, Italy and Kuwait.
Approximately 550 doctors from India and abroad will join us. They are from the USA, England, Australia, SAARC counties, Egypt, UAE, Croatia, Kuwait, Italy, Iraq, Greece and other countries," stated a release by AIIMS, Bhubaneswar.
