AJSU Party celebrates Sankalp Diwas

Wednesday, 23 June 2021 | PNS | Ranchi

AJSU Party celebrated Sankalp Diwas across Jharkhand on Tuesday. On this occasion blood donation camp and tree plantation programs were organised by the party at various places. The blood donation camp was also organised at the party headquarter of Ranchi. The programme was inaugurated by AJSU Party Chief, Sudesh Kumar Mahato.

The programme started with paying homage to the departed souls who lost their lives from Corona and the brave martyrs of Jharkhand.

Speaking on the occasion, Mahto said that AJSU Party, taking forward the saga of dedication, organised blood donation camps in district units of the entire State and also in those block units wherever possible. Along with this, today the leaders and workers of the party also planted trees across the State, he added.

The party Chief said that the public opinion that has come in Bengal has given strength to restore the thinking of Greater Jharkhand. “AJSU Party has decided that the part of adjoining areas of the State which have spirit of Jharkhand, which not only geographically but also socially matches with Jharkhand, will lead a big movement for their rights. The part of Odisha which comes in the greater Jharkhand region, AJSU party will hold a plebiscite there too,” he added.

Regarding the Covid infection and the problems arising out of it, Mahto said that the State Government completely failed to fight this crisis and the entire department of the Government appeared unorganized in this crisis. “No concrete road map has yet been prepared to deal with these problems. It is the basic responsibility of the Government to take the people out of this crisis and make far-reaching efforts for them, but on the contrary, the Government of JMM Grand Alliance is wasting time in the name of Covid,” he added.

“Before coming to power, JMM had promised to provide employment to five lakh youth every year. But, the experience of the last one and a half years shows that contrary to all the claims of the JMM Grand Alliance Government, unemployment has assumed a formidable form. All the claims of the Government are only proving to be hollow. Also, Government schools are running closed for the last fourteen months. The Government and the education department claim to get children to study online, but on the ground of reality, the picture looks quite the opposite. Millions of students have gone away from studies due to lack of smart phones in rural areas,” said Mahto.

The party Chief said that all the leaders of AJSU party are working to prepare a list of such people in their respective areas who have died due to Corona. He said that AJSU Party is determined to give justice to these families and fight a decisive battle for their rights. AJSU party is concerned about the future of the family of the deceased and will make every effort to get them compensation, ensure livelihood for the future and arrange for education for the children and will carry out agitation from the house to the road, he added.
