Bagbahara has become the third block in Chhattisgarh's Mahasamund district where everyone has got the first dose of anti-Covid-19 vaccination, Collector Doman Singh announced on Sunday.
Saraipali and Basna were the first two blocks.
Singh said in a statement that Mahasamund and Pithora blocks are also inching towards completion of the first dose of vaccination.
He said all eligible citizens of villages were given the vaccine first dose first and then the campaign shifted to urban areas in the district.
The beneficiaries include 142,928 eligible residents of Saraipali, 123,164 in Basna and 128,354 in Bagbahara.
Now, work will begin to get everyone vaccinated with the second dose too, the officer said.
