Good news for the students of the State Capital preparing for Union Service Public Commission (UPSC) and other civil services examinations. Now, the officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) of Jharkhand cadre will provide them guidance to crack the examinations.
A seminar in this regard was organised on Wednesday in joint collaboration with Ranchi District Administrations and Ranchi University at Aryabhatta Auditorium to guide the students. A large number of students participated in this seminar and got to know the UPSC Syllabus along with the tricks of preparation for the coveted examination.
Praveen Kumar, who got 7th rank in UPSC examination, gave tips to the students during the seminar. He told the students about the preparation in detail. He said that the students should pen down it immediately after the study. Ranchi City SP Saurabh also gave tips. Talking to the media persons on the occasion, the City SP said that in Delhi, students do not have to wander here and there to get experts. “Similarly, in small cities like Ranchi, students can be encouraged by organizing such seminars which will benefit the students,” he added.
The students who are completely dependent on coaching will now get the guidance of experienced IAS officers to prepare for the syllabus and go on the right path at the right time. This will benefit those students who are not able to prepare for expensive coaching or going to Delhi due to financial or other reasons.
Similar seminar was also organised on Tuesday at Vinoba Bhave University, where two successful students told how to prepare for the examination. Utkarsh Kumar, a resident of Hazaribagh who got 55th rank and Yash Jaluka, who got the fourth rank, addressed the students of Binova Bhave University.
The first dream of every promising child is to get success in civil services. Many promising students from cities like Hazaribagh have also achieved success in UPSC civil services exams.
Speaking on the occasion IAS officer of Jharkhand Cadre Rajiv Ranjan also informed the students about preparation for civil services examination in detail. Ranjan said that many times due to lack of information, the students also read many such books, which probably do not even need to be read. He emphasized on maintaining morale and continuous studies so that the performance could improve on a regular basis and it will help to get good marks in the examination.
