The Badrinath temple has been decorated with garlands of marigold flowers for the occasion.

Wishing the devotees on the occasion, chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat has appealed to all to conduct their prayers from home.

The Char Dham Devasthanam Management Board media in-charge Harish Gaur informed that all preparations have been completed for reopening of Badrinath. On the occasion of Adi Shankaracharya Jayanti on Monday, prayers were held at the Narsinh temple in Joshimath. The Covid guidelines are being observed in all rituals, he said.
