Bagheli Gayan, Gadali dance performed at MPSTM

Under Gamak series, Bagheli Gayan and Gadali dance were performed at Madhya Pradesh State Tribal Museum.

'Bagheli Gayan' by Arvind Kumar and group, Sidhi and Koraku tribal 'Gadali' dance was performed by Vinod Kalme and group, Harda.

The presentation began with 'Bagheli Gaon' by Arvind Kumar and colleagues. In which the songs of Baghel Khand region were traditional and performed on different occasions. Singing Beginning Ritual Sumirani - Darshan Do Maharniyan, Shram Geet (Tappa) - Bulut One Ja Raja, Koladadara - As Man Lagaye In Rahejaye, Sanskar Geet (Viah) - Bakhri Ta Bhali Baneye, Sanskar Geet (Sohag) - Are Chirai Te Soi Gai, Ahirai Virhi - Sharda Bhavani of the high mountain was Maihar, Basant Geet - Upjai Hira Moti, Phag Chautal - Kahe Vipra Sudama Ki Nari, Phag - Mohi Chhod Virani Aas and Rai Phag - Rang Ras Ma Bhari presented the Bagheli songs.

He was accompanied on Harmonium by Arvind Kumar Patel, in the chorus by Madhuri Tiwari, Neelam Tiwari and Deepti Patel, Dholak by Patel (Surdasji), Nagadia - Mr. Ramanuja, Banjo by Ramkishore Singh and Majira by Suresh Kumar.

The second performance was the Korku tribal dance 'Gadali' by Vinod Kalme and grouo.

In Gadali Dance the costumes are very simple and elegant. Men prefer white color, head turban and crested male dancers especially. The women wear red, green, blue, yellow colored sari.

A woman has a chitkola in her hand, which she plays while dancing with rhythm and rhythm. The men have a flute in their hands, with the women dancing while playing chitkola. Dholak plays a major role in Korku dances. On the rhythm and rhythm of the dholak, Korku dances in a circle, making different postures of hands and feet.

On stage, Dholak by Narayana and Ramnath, Bansuri by Mansharam and Anokhi Lal and Tarachandra, Bhagwan, Pahalwan, Amardas, Shravan, Dhananjaya, Aarti, Angoori Puja, Anjali and Anita participated in the dance.
