The Bhopal Crime Branch arrested a 36-year-old accused who was wanted for past nine years in a case of attempt to murder registered with Kamla Nagar police; accused was arrested near AIIMS hospital Bhopal.
Arrested near near AIIMS hospital Bhopal miscreant identified as Gumnaam Singh was booked for attempt to murder in the year 2012 by Kamla Nagar police.
The miscreant was wanted in case reported in Kamla Nagar area and remained hiding during the absconding which was for 9 years in different states to evade arrest.
After the arrest in the investigation police have arrested accused while he was near AIIMS Bhopal, he came to visit his ailing mother at AIIMS Bhopal.
The Kamla Nagar police after the crime registered case under section 47,148,149,307,195(A) of the IPC against the accused after the incident. Accused was arrested after receiving information that a man in the age group of 35 is near AIIMS Bhopal and was a wanted accused in attempt to murder.
Acting swiftly police team reached the spot and arrested the accused and it was found that for 9 years he remained absconding in different states and details of crime and other activities during absconding would be investigated. Police claims that more crimes would be confessed by the miscreants in the further investigation.
