The Speed Measurement Vehicle Interceptor was flagged off by DIG Bhopal Irshad Wali at Nehru Nagar Police Line today vehicle is aimed to curb speeding drivers in Bhopal city.
At present, an interceptor vehicle has been supplied to the traffic police of the state capital, whose number will be increased as per the requirement in the coming time.
The speciality of the vehicle is that due to the speed radar and sensor installed in it, it will track any vehicle from a distance of 800 meters and tell its speed within just 3 seconds, so that necessary legal action can be taken by stopping the driver on the spot.
The vehicle can control the speeding vehicles in the city as well as reduce accidents due to high speed.
