BJP national ST Morcha meet on Oct 22

The three-day National Working Committee meeting of the BJP Scheduled Tribes Morcha will start from October 22. Top leaders of the country including BJP National President JP Nadda will attend the ST morcha meeting. On Sunday, BJP ST Morcha national president Sameer Oraon shared this information with the media about the preparations for the meeting. BJP state president Deepak Prakash among other leaders was present on the occasion.

ST Morcha national president Oraon said that on the first day of the three-day executive meeting to be held at Birsa Mandap Carnival, Ranchi, a meeting of national and state office bearers would be held on October 22. Whereas the working committee will be duly inaugurated at 11 am on next day. A total of seven sessions will be convened from the inauguration till the end of 23 October. In this, the interests of the tribal society will be discussed. He said that the workers will get the guidance of National President JP Nadda in the working committee of ST Morcha.

Apart from this, National Organization General Secretary BL Santosh, V Satish, who looks after the work related to the organization, Dilip Saikia in-charge of Morcha and Jharkhand and eight tribal ministers of the Union Cabinet will register their presence. Apart from this, 46 MPs of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha and tribal ministers of BJP ruled states will also participate. Sameer Oraon expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National President JP Nadda for organizing the National Working Committee of the Morcha in Jharkhand.

He specially thanked the Prime Minister for inducting eight ministers of tribal community in the Union Cabinet. He said, after independence, previous governments saw the tribal society only as a vote bank. For the first time Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee established the Tribal Ministry after independent India. Along with this, a Tribal Commission was formed for how to solve the tribal issues. Today Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking forward all the

work.
